Computational fluid dynamics analysis and simulation will definitely be changing with the advent of the petaflop and further advances in supercomputing. Dr. Scott Imlay, Director of Research at Tecplot, Inc., was at the Supercomputing Conference in Seattle, and pointed out, “The need for simulation data is essentially unlimited.”
