To improve the user experience of Tecplot Chorus for engineers, we spent time watching and understanding how our customers work—and we saw engineers storing their data in many different ways: Some engineers keep their data in a nice, neat file structure. Others have their data in a CSV file for easier sorting. Still others have invented their own digital filing system that lets them retrieve their data quickly. Our observations show that valuable time that could be spent on your CFD analysis project is being spent wrangling your data and your post-processing software.
We know that engineers like you do multiple runs and append data by feeding it back in, and that this process happens on a random schedule. So we’ve built Tecplot Chorus to work the way you work.
CFD Analysis Based on a Holistic Way to Look at Your Data
Tecplot Chorus makes it easy for you to read data in from many different sources. Now you can do this much faster. Before Chorus, if you wanted to look at your data in a specific alpha range, you had to first get through your own file structure. With our filters, you can slide a series of control bars and see how your information changes as the alpha changes. And less than a centimeter up from that on our GUI, you can slide the mach filter bar and see how that affects your plots.
Chorus can also show you partial runs on your surrogate models. We’re working on ways to allow you to get stronger surrogate models so you can see your data in a more holistic way very quickly.
