That’s the last line on our one-page strategic plan. We want everyone to be on board, signed up and committed to our goals for the coming year. Because we know that to serve our customers well, it takes that kind of joint effort.
Serving our customers well has been the hallmark of Mike Peery’s leadership of Tecplot. Over the past 30 years, Tecplot has grown into a very successful, caring enterprise. One that cares about its customers, employees and their extended families, with equal passion all around. I’m honored to have been given the opportunity to lead this organization, and am thrilled knowing that Mike will continue to be extremely involved at Tecplot, with the time to focus on what he does best: adding the most value to our customers.
I’ve known Mike for four years and have worked intimately with him over the past year. I’ve learned a tremendous amount from him, and I’ve learned what a well-run company Tecplot is. Certainly there are ways to improve. But I stand on a very solid foundation as I step out in my new role, and am grateful to Mike for all that he has done for Tecplot. I’m excited about working with him to serve our customers and realize the opportunities for growth and development we have waiting for us.
