Welcome to Workshop Wednesday, a regular feature of the Tecplot blog. Here, we show you how engineers use our visualization software to create inspiringly accurate—and surprisingly beautiful—design simulations.
For the first time in history, researchers have been able to create a detailed 3D numerical simulation of a dragonfly in free flight. This video features an exact full-body 3D reconstruction of the dragonfly, including body motion and wing deformation. It was created with Tecplot 360 2009.
