Every once in a while, we like to give our readers a better idea of who we are at Tecplot—not just as visualization software wizards, but as, you know, people. Here, a spotlight on Raja Olimuthu.
When you’ve got it, you’ve got it. And Raja Olimuthu, Business Development Representative at Tecplot . . . Well, he’s pretty much got it.
Not only is he a totally skilled reservoir engineering expert (and a super sweet guy)—he’s really good at making the tunes.
Yup: he’s a musician.
And we take advantage of that whenever we can.
Like for our YouTube videos. One of Raja’s masterpieces, called “In the Pocket” is featured in this one, this one and this one.
A little more background on Raja: Before joining us at Tecplot, he was living in Houston, Texas. When he arrived in Seattle in 2010, he gave up sunshine almost completely, but he didn’t give up his hobbies of music (he’s a bassist and guitarist), basketball and tennis.
This link takes you to the full version of Raja’s music.
Or click this link to experience his more nerdy side as he discusses complexity in reservoir engineering on our Blog Talk Radio show.
Okay, now back to the day job . . .
