Tecplot’s food drive to benefit Hopelink was a great success!
Hopelink has five centers, which offer food banks and food deliveries to the elderly and disabled who have trouble getting out. They also have an Emergency Feeding Service, which delivers bags of food to schools, religious institutions, and community centers.
A total of five companies participated in this year’s food drive and 3,408 pounds of food were collected.
Tecplot contributed an amazing 1,120 pounds of food. Our “Team Awesome” (Byron, Dan, Tim, Zach, Alice, Chris, Steve, Dave, Jenya, Jay, Jerry, Ryland, Karen, Bill and Bobby) bag was by far the biggest and heaviest. Sales and Admin/TSG did a stellar job as well!
Thank you to everyone for your efforts in helping Hopelink help those in need. Tecplot will be matching $2 for every pound collected at Tecplot. We will be sending a check to support the food bank in the amount of $2,240 to Hopelink this week.
