Problem: I tried to open a layout in Tecplot and got this error message. How can I fix this?
Solution: This error message means that the selected file was not recognized by Tecplot as a layout (.lay) or layout package file (.lpk). When using this feature please make sure that the file you are loading is a layout or layout package file and that it has the proper extension – (.lay) or (.lpk).
