Problem: My Linux machine with Nvidia graphics card crashes when I export an image or animation.
Solution: The Nvidia graphics driver 4496 will make Tecplot (or your machine) crash when you export an image file. Solution: Install a better driver such as 4363. The latest drivers are on http://www.nvidia.com/page/home. Choose Download Drivers Graphics Driver choose your platform. The latest Nvidia graphics driver 5336 will not crash Tecplot or the machine but if the plot is very detailed the lower part of the plot may not be drawn. Temporary workaround to export with driver 4496: Add this command to your tecplot.cfg file: $!Interface UseOffScreenBitmap = noUse with caution. Size is what you see on the screen. Also if you move any dialog or other windows in front of Tecplot it will not give acceptable results.
