Problem: I have a Tecplot 9 3D layout with contour lines and flood. In Tecplot 9 the lines match the flooding much better than when I open this layout in Tecplot 10. This especially shows up when I rotate the plot.
Solution: Tecplot 10 had different lift fractions from Tecplot 9 so if you are loading in a Tecplot 9 layout you probably want to go into: Plot | Advanced 3D controls and change to the lift fractions to match Tecplot 10s new format:Line % = .2Symbol = .6Tangent Vector = .7Then it will reset and snap to the display correctly. However if you change you layout and save it in Tecplot 10 it cant be read back in Tecplot 9.
