Solution: This is a libc compatibility issue, which occurs when installing the libc 2.9 build of Tecplot 360/Focus on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server/Desktop (SLES/SLED) 11 SP1. This can be resolved by installing the libc 2.7 build of Tecplot 360/Focus. The build option is provided when running the setup script located in the Tecplot 360/Focus Linux installation tar file.
