Problem: I tried to run the version of Tecplot packaged with Chorus and got the error message that said:   Tecplot does not have a valid license.    How do I get Tecplot to run?

Answer: The version of Tecplot that is packaged with Chorus is intended to be run by Chorus when you do a “deep dive”.    If you want to run it by itself (independently of Chorus)  you can  – it just needs a license key file.

To provide it with a key file, just request a key file for Chorus.  Then when you receive that key, install it (in Chorus) and then run Chorus.  Chorus will copy the key file to the appropriate directory in the packaged Tecplot 360 2011 folder, so that it can run Tecplot 360_2011 when needed.

After you have run Chorus for the first time, you will also be able to run the packaged Tecplot 360_2011 independently from Chorus.
