What’s New
Now you can handle more data in less time with the engineering plotting software
that allows you to quickly plot all your engineering and test data exactly the way
you want. The R2 version of Tecplot Focus 2009 delivers greater speeds and larger
data set handling capabilities than ever before.
Enhancements include:
- Faster handling, especially when working with large data sets.
When benchmarked on a16GB Linux server with 186M finite element data sets, the time
to first image is 2.5 times faster; slicing data is up to two times faster; and
animations are up to one-third times faster than the R1 version of Tecplot Focus
2009.
- Windows 7 support. The R2 version has been fully tested and is
compatible with Microsoft’s new operating system.
- License manager support for virtualization. Those using Tecplot
Focus in mission-critical work can be assured of rapid recovery in the event of
server or IT disasters.
