Groundwater and a River Dam.
The relationship between groundwater and a river with a dam used for peaking power upstream of the site. Upper plot shows pore water velocities, equipotential lines, percent of saturation for vadose zone above water table and particle paths (calculated by Tecplot's CFD Analyzer). Lower left plot is the same as upper plot but with more Z-exaggeration. Only the particle tracks and the river are shown in this frame. Table of values shows water fluxes across the flux planes shown in the upper plot. The lower X-Y plot shows the boundary conditions at the river and on the western edge of the model.
