This quick video addresses an often asked question about how to create a full model in Tecplot 360 with only one passage. Can periodic mirroring be used to rotate that passage around to create the entire engine? And can cylindrical coordinates be used instead of Cartesian coordinates? The answer is yes, you can use a macro in Tecplot 360 to generate the full model. This example uses an open source geometry model where we have two stators and a motor.
