The TecIO Library allows you to quickly and easily read and write Tecplot binary files directly from your application. Customers have coded up applications 10 times faster using TecIO-MPI, which handles the complexity of MPIIO for you.
For those not familiar with TecIO, it is a library of utility functions that allow you to output Tecplot binary files directly from your application. Binary format reduces data files sizes and increases speed and efficiency when importing and analyzing results in Tecplot 360, especially compared to ASCII.
SZL format is optimized for large data sets and performance improvements result in faster load & analysis times, less memory usage and smaller files sizes.
